Training as a health coach (EWI)

The dynamically growing service and health sector needs qualified professionals who complement technical knowledge and the experience of their previous profession with health pedagogical and social skills.

Health originates in the head - find individual ways to improve well-being and performance together with your customers. Upon successful completion of this advanced training, you will acquire an EWI® certificate.

The primary learning objective of the health coach is to motivate clients (without illnesses) to refine their personal lifestyle. This motivation is achieved by imparting the knowledge of a health-preserving lifestyle as well as targeted training of the inner attitude.

The course will provide you with the general and specific expertise in the areas of health promotion and prevention.

Target groups:

Individuals who wish to learn and use coaching techniques in the area of active lifestyle management and counselling. Individuals from medical, pharmaceutical, sports, tourism, social or educational professions who would like to expand their job description to include the area of professional, holistic health counselling.

Course contents:

Introduction to the health system, work and health, coaching in the area of exercise, coaching in the area of nutrition, anti-aging, stress and stress management, relaxation and body awareness, basics of coaching.

Duration:

9 months.
